Flue Cured Virginia (FCV) Tobacco Characterized by its bright golden-yellow to deep-orange leaf color, FCV tobacco is cured using heat-driven flue pipes. Manufactured and exported in variants like Traditional, NLS, SLS, and Mysore/Karnataka crops, it offers low nicotine content (1.0%–2.5%) and high natural sugar levels (10%–24%). Its high filling capacity and smooth flavor make it ideal as a filler for cigarettes, shisha molasses, and roll-your-own (RYO) blends.

Burley Tobacco Air-cured naturally over several weeks, Indian Burley tobacco features a reddish-brown to dark tan appearance. It contains negligible sugar but higher natural nicotine content compared to FCV.
